Why Setting Goals Is So Important

You won't get anywhere in life if you don't have a plan for your life. Everybody has a plan, however small, however little thought or detail or plan is given, you still know where you want to be in life.

As I said before I set very high standards for myself, some have told me that my goals are unachievable. You will get that a lot in life, trust me. My boyfriend supports all my decisions but even he wasn't 100% enthusiastic when I said I'm going to be a millionaire one day. (But now I'm always saying it so he's starting to believe!)

You will have doubters, you will have haters, you will have people trying to belittle you, embarrass and borderline bully you whether you reach your goal or not...

I'm going to be very blunt right now; the majority of them people aren't going anywhere in life. They're in a low paid job, barely got through college let alone think about University - now all that is okay - but they never applied themselves after the fact. They never thought "I'm not getting very far, screw it, lets go out and pursue my dreams!" ... They're still in the exact same position they were in when they first started chatting crap about you never getting anywhere!

But now you are somewhere. It might not be the top goal you want, but at least you're climbing the ladder rather than watching it collect dust in the corner.

It could take a month, a year, ten or even twenty years. DO. NOT. GIVE. UP.

Write down your goals, write down where you want to be in life at a certain age, do your research for it. Do you need to get a diploma or a degree? Do you need to relocate? How are you going to fund these plans?

Build yourself up, hype yourself up; I promise you that if you start doing this, it will push you in the right direction to success!
